  1. ABOUT THE AUTHOR

  4. I am currently a senior at Pittsford Sutherland High School in Pittsford, NY.  In
  5. the fall, I will most likely be attending Stanford University where I'll major in
  6. Computer Science.  I have been using Macs since  1984 when I was too short to see
  7. what I was doing.  I learned how to program in Pascal by taking distance learning
  8. classes at the Rochester Institute of Technology.  I learned C at Stanford when I
  9. spent a summer there.
  10.  
  11. I've written a few other Macintosh programs. Among them are:
  12.  
  13. •Jot - A text editor. It's nothing compared programs like BBEdit, but it has some
  14.        unique features  like launching externals and 80 column view.  Version 1.6
  15.        will be released in a few months and will be PowerMac native.
  16.  
  17. •HTML Markdown - A drag-and-drop converter from HTML to plain text.
  18.  
  19. •PowerSpaceTabsPlus - A drag-and-drop converter from text to database format.
  20.  
  21. •Other stuff - I've written countless little programs to try out animation, sound,
  22.                etc.
